Encorate Chrono 500 Tablet

This medication helps in treating seizures in patients who suffer from epilepsy. The medicine is an anticonvulsant and effectively increases a certain type of brain chemical that controls seizures.

The tablet can be taken before or with a meal. It is generally advised that the drug should not be taken with carbonated drinks, as irritation in the throat may occur. The dosage of the drug is primarily dependent on the patient’s age, health, weight and severity of the condition. It is advised that the drug should be discontinued gradually, so as to prevent any complications.

Encorate Chrono may lead to some side effects such as dizziness, hair loss, tremor, diarrhea, changed in weight and blurred or double vision. A few patients may also experience mood swings and undergo depression resulting in suicidal thoughts. In case of over dosage of the drug, seek immediate medical help. Symptoms of over dosage can include coma, irregular heart rate and extreme drowsiness.
