About E Tag Syrup
This syrup is a combination of three medicine which includes Terbutaline, Acebrophylline, and Guaifenesin. Being a bronchodilator, this syrup works by relaxing the muscles around the bronchioles in the lungs and opening them up. This helps air to pass in and out easily of the lungs. It is useful to treat spasms or contractions of the bronchioles, seen in asthma, bronchitis and emphysema.
It is not to be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or to a sympathomimetic amine like epinephrine and albuterol. How does this medication work?
This syrup is the combination of three medicine which includes Terbutaline, Acebrophylline and Guaifenesin and helps in relieving cough and mucus from the body. Terbutaline works as a bronchodilator and relaxes and widens the muscles in the airways. Acebrophylline works as a mucolyte and it thins and loses the mucus. Guaifenesin works as an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of the mucus and removes it from the airways. Thus the three of them together makes breathing easier.
