Dinosin 400Mg Capsule, in combination with other antiretroviral drugs, is used for the treatment of HIV-1. It functions by inhibiting the growth of the virus. The medicine is to be administered orally. This medication must be taken on an empty stomach.

Your doctor will recommend you the dosage by discussing about your medical history and other factors. Serious adverse effects of the medicine include inflammation of the pancreas, liver disorders and build up of lactic acid in the body.

Didanosine drug is used against HIV/AIDS. Its intracellular metabolism converts it into dideoxyadenosine triphosphate (ddATP) responsible for inhibiting HIV reverse transcriptase enzyme. The inhibitory action of ddATP competes with that of natural dATP. The drug terminates viral DNA growth by incorporating itself in the viral DNA.
