About Digene-Total 40 MG Tablet

Digene-Total 40 MG Tablet is a prescribed medication used to treat stomach ulcers caused by the bacteria called Helicobacter pylori.

It is also used for the short-term treatment of erosive esophagitis associated with gastroesophageal diseases (GERD), peptic ulcers, acid reflux, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

This proton-pump inhibitor reduces the amount of naturally occurring acid in the stomach. It helps by preventing the esophagus from being damaged by the acids and treating peptic ulcers in the digestive system.

It is important that you stick to the dosage prescribed by the doctor to avoid any serious side effects. When taking the tablet, make sure that you do not miss a dose.

Some of the side effects of this drug are joint pain, dizziness, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and headache. Other serious side effects include anxiety, irregular heartbeat, severe diarrhea, seizures, muscle spasms, tremors and lupus or kidney damage. If you experience any of it, consult a doctor immediately.
