Azinix Sdp 250 MG Syrup is an antibiotic used to treat different types of infections caused by a variety of bacteria. It has the advantage of once-daily dosing. This medication is not recommended for use in case of common cold, flu or viral infection since it is active against infections caused by bacteria only. It belongs to a group of Macrolide Antibiotics useful for treating numerous infections caused by bacteria like middle ear infections, traveler’s diarrhoea. Along with other medications it is sometimes used for curing malaria. It is also used to treat number of intestinal infections and sexually transmitted infections.

Azinix Sdp 250 MG Syrup should not be taken without consulting a doctor. The dosage or how often the medication is taken depends on a person's age, weight, the condition that is being treated, other medical conditions and also how a person reacts to the first dose of the medication. Azinix Sdp 250 MG Syrup is a bacteriostatic drug. It inhibits protein synthesis by binding itself to 50S ribosomal subunits of the sensitive micro-organism. It infringes with transpeptidation and translocation and thus inhibits protein synthesis and cell growth.
