As a cephalosporin antibiotic, Droxyl tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections affecting the skin, tonsils, throat and urinary tract. The medicine kills the bacteria and prevents the infection.

This medication is usually taken with or without food once or twice in a day. However, it is better to take the medicine with food to reduce the symptoms of stomach upset and nausea. You should take the medication as recommended by your doctor. In case you miss a dose, you can have it as soon as you remember it but do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one.
