You have to take electral powder only when you have dehydration due to loose motion/vomiting/ excessive sweating etc. Dissolve one packet in 200 ml of water and take few sips every 15 minutes if you have dehydration.

There is a difference. Microwave generates waves to heat the food, which is not uniformly distributed and leads to over heating and under heating of portions of food. Mixers don't generate waves. So no such issues. But packed pastes and chutney have lot of preservatives and salt/sugar added, should be avoided.
