Zuvair 10Mg Tablet, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, is used for the prevention and long-term treatment of asthma in patients 5 years old and older. It should not be used for the treatment of acute asthma attacks. It works by blocking the action of certain chemicals that are responsible for some forms of asthma.

Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it or if you have any liver problems. Inform you doctor if you are are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding, if you have a history of mental problems or suicidal thoughts or actions or if you have been taking a steroid.

Potential serious side effects of this medicine are worsening asthma symptoms, new or worsening cough, trouble breathing, fever, behaviour changes, mental problems, skin rash, bruising, flu symptoms, numbness, pain, severe tingling, dark urine, muscle weakness, nausea, upper abdomen pain, loss of appetite, itching, clay-coloured stools or jaundice.

Zuvair 10Mg Tablet should be taken in the prescribed amount, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Your dosage is based on your age and medical condition. Most patients would require dosage adjustment based on their response to treatment.

Zuvair 10Mg Tablet is used in the treatment of asthma. It works as a competitive and selective receptor of the two forms of leukotriene D4 and E4 antagonists. It inhibits the actions of certain specific leukotrienes and thus has an anti-inflammatory effect in such case specific inflammations.
