Shicalm Plus 5 Mg/2 Mg Tablet is a phenothiazine. It is used for treating all kinds of mental and mood disorders such as schizophrenia and anxiety. It can also reduce aggression and hallucinations.
On using Shicalm Plus 5 Mg/2 Mg Tablet you may experience side effects such as rapid weight gain, trouble with seeing, swallowing and sleeping, drowsiness, dizziness, restlessness, muscle stiffness and tremors. Should your reactions persist or become severe over time contact your health care provider as soon as possible.
Before using this medication notify your doctor if: you are allergic to any ingredient contained within Shicalm Plus 5 Mg/2 Mg Tablet, you have blood/ /heart/ liver/ bone marrow disorders, you are alcoholic or suffer from alcohol withdrawal, you are already taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs, you have asthma or lung infection, you have Parkinson/ Alzheimer/ diseases, you have dementia or diabetes, you have a history of cancer or if you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding a baby.
The dosage should be prescribed by the doctor based on your medical history and condition. The usual dose prescribed for adults is about 2-5 mg orally twice a day for treating Schizophrenia and 1-2 mg orally twice for treating anxiety.
