Itraconazole is excreted in small amounts in breast milk, so it is recommended to avoid if possible during breast feeding. It is better to get clinical treatment under the supervision of a dermatologist, moreover, if you feel the need, you can get treatment online with us.

U can try this (do patch test first) wash the affected skin two to three times a day. Keep the affected area dry.Avoid excess affected skin irritation by wearing 100% cotton underwear. Avoid fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh laundry detergents. Wash your workout clothes, underwear, socks, and towels after each use. Keep your affected area, inner thighs, and buttocks clean and dry, especially after you exercise and shower. After showering or bathing, dry the irritated affected area by gently patting it with a towel. Be sure to dry your skin thoroughly. Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in two cups of warm water. Wash the infected area with this solution and allow it to dry on its own. Another option is to apply a mixture of equal parts of white vinegar and coconut oil on the affected skin. Like hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol can help kill off the fungus that's on the surface level of the skin. Listerine: it has antiseptic, antifungal and antibacterial properties, which help treat skin problem here are some tips to help you manage the infection:avoid using oily skin products.Reduce your exposure to the sun. I am suffering from ringworm from 6 months. Now recently, I had delivered a baby. After consulting dermatology doctor, he gave me itraconazole 100 mg twice a day for 1 week. During usage of this medicine, can I breast feed my baby or not?

Dear user, itraconazole is better to be avoided during breastfeeding, as it may pass on to the fetus. Studies have shown poor absorption in milk but it is safe to avoid breastfeeding during this period. It is better to store breast milk and feed as required but not to feed during the course of the medication. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a positive feedback as it helps me with my practice. Thank you.

Fluconazole is secreted in breast milk but is considered safe in neonates. Ketoconazole and itraconazole are absorbed poorly in milk but better avoided during lactation. Terbinafine is transferred through milk, and as there are no long-term data on infant toxicity, it has to be used for a prolonged time.

Can you repair fracture on your own by reading treatment on internet? You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It is also called jock itch. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter steroid containing creams like fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, dermi5, cloben g betnovate, dermikem oc, candid b etc lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application. Do not use steroid containing combination creams. Please contact me using online consult option with photos for detailed prescription. Do not delay treatment as it may spread further on your body and also to other people living in the household.

Iitraconazole is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

First of all don't take allopathic medicines for ringworm. Cause you would feel improvement till the time you take them and the time you stop them your condition would be worst than present. By God's grace I have treated many ringworm patients. We prepare ayurveda combination of medicines ras rasayan aushadhi. To completely clear out fungal infections. No need to feed your body with harms of terbinafine, itraconazole, steroids. Opt for ayurveda for complete treatment. U can contact us online through Lybrate platform for proper treatment. Since I would need to know your detailed history and prakruti for complete prescription.
