The pain may be due to sciatic nerve compression
this simple stretch helps relieve sciatica pain by loosening your gluteal and piriformis muscles, which can become inflamed and press against the sciatic nerve.
1.lie on your back with your legs extended and your feet flexed upward.
2.bend your right leg and clasp your hands around the knee.
3.gently pull your right leg ac
4.5.6.7.ross your body toward your left shoulder. Hold it there for 30 seconds. Remember to pull your knee only as far as it will comfortably go. You should feel a relieving stretch in your muscle, not pain.
8.push your knee so your leg returns to its starting position.
9.repeat for a total of 3 reps, and then switch legs.
5.sitting spinal stretch
sciatica pain is triggered when vertebrae in the spine compress. This stretch helps create space in the spine to relieve pressure on the sciatic nerve.
1.sit on the ground with your legs extended straight out with your feet flexed upward.
2.bend your right knee and place your foot flat on the floor on the outside of your opposite knee.
3.place your left elbow on the outside of your right knee to help you gently turn your body toward the right.
4.hold for 30 seconds and repeat three times, then switch sides.
6. Standing hamstring stretch
this stretch can help ease pain and tightness in the hamstring caused by sciatica.
1.place your right foot on an elevated surface at or below your hip level. This could be a chair, ottoman, or step on a staircase. Flex your foot so your toes and leg are straight. If your knee tends to hyperextend, keep a slight bend in it.
2.bend your body forward slightly toward your foot. The further you go, the deeper the stretch. Do not push so far that you feel pain.
3.release the hip of your raised leg downward as opposed to lifting it up. If you need help easing your hip down, loop a yoga strap or long exercise band over your right thigh and under your left foot.
4.hold for at least 30 seconds, and then repeat on the other sideif you have low back pain and sciatica you can undergo intermittent pelvic traction where in your half of your body weight will be added in the electronic traction so that that would help you to reduce the pain, along with interferential therapy stimulations which would help you to get relieved from the radiating pain. Apply ice for the pain to get subsided immediately.
If you cannot go immediately for the physiotherapy treatment. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back.
U have to take vitamin d rich foods. Likemilk, cheese, yogurt, brocoli, spinach. U need calcium consumption for increase the bone density.
Lackof bone and bones crush inside the body
vitamin d intake via supplements or exposure to low levels of sunlight. Vitamin d is used to absorb calcium in the bone and regulate calcium in the blood.this might be due to low calcium or vitamin d which has more impact on the bone density and also it makes one to feel that there is lack of bone strength or in a way the bones are brittle and almost breaking and they feel it is crushed in a way there are many bones breaking at the same time. You have to take vitamin d rich foods. Likemilk, cheese, yogurt, brocoli, spinach. U need calcium consumption for increase the bone density.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. As I understand you have hypothyroidism since 10 years and you are on 125 mcg. However, there is no mention of current t3, t4 & tsh levels. Because if hypothyroidism is under good control then all the symptoms related to that condition are in control. So if you are getting back ache and pain in legs, then there is a need to look at those values. If hypothyroidism is well controlled then one has to investigate and find out the reasons for such pain.
Another important aspect is your height & weight. With a bmi (body mass index) of 29.29 kg/sq meter (normal < 23 kg/sq meter), you are already very close to become grade 1 obese person. Your ideal body weight should be about 59 kg. Which means there is an excess of over 16 kgs. In uncontrolled hypothyroidism weight does go up. As regards gastritis, repeated use of painkillers does lead to that condition. Etoricoxib is supposed to cause very little effect on stomach mucosa and supposed to be safe. There also a need to look at your vitamin d3 & calcium levels, plus time spent on exercises daily. So please come back with these details and then I may be of help. Thanks.
Hi! I specialise in managing pain non surgically. First, the cause of pain is determined
then if it is arthritis (which is most common) we can have intra articular injections (inside the joint) to relieve pain, nerve blocks and so many other interventional pain management procedures.
Yes it can be because of bp. But it can be because of many reason from simple reasons like not sleeping on time or sleeping too much, stress, have long hours of fasting, dehydration to causes like sinusitis, migraine, high blood pressure, tumor etc. Do this
1. Take adequate night sleep
2. Eat at regular intervals. As starvation/gas can trigger headache
3. Avoid things that can trigger headache. Common triggers include alcohol, caffeine or poor sleep.
Inculcate good sleep practices like having a regular bedtime schedule and avoiding naps, caffeine and tv before bedtime.
4. Don't take stress- pursue an enjoyable activity or verbalising frustration to reduce stress and improve mental health.
5. Avoid foods that you know triggers your headache.
6. Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect
7. Drink water. âdehydration can be a big cause of headaches,â

From your history it sounds like you hv developed ingrown toe nai. Along with fungal infection of nail (onychomycosis). Correct diagnosis to be made only after proper examination. For acute pain you can take nsaids (like aceclofenac). Once the pain is subsided, you can cut the ingrown portion of toe nail (or removal of matrix of nail. For onychomycosis pulse dose of cap itraconazole is given along with topical (like cyclopirox olamine/ amorolfine lotion). Visit nearst dermatolgist. Thanks.
Hi,
these symptoms are suggestive of nerve root compression most commonly caused by a intervertebral disc prolapse. Since this is acute presentation working diagnosis will be acute ivdp. So treatment includes conservative which includes analgesics and rest for 1 or 2 weeks. If no improvement a mri need to be taken and operative treatment can be thought of for a faster pain relief.
Mandatory surgical treatment is indicated in below red flag signs
1. Complaints of urinary or defecation problems
2. Development of motor / muscle weakness
thank you.
Yes ,obviously it has side effects.
Acelofenac belogs to nsaids which is ised to relief oain and inflammation. The most common side effect is gastrointestinal discomfort due to acidity and gastric ulcers.
Frequesnt ulceration can have a bad prognosis.
This is why is is essential to con6a doctor before taking medication because a doctor shall always prescribe nsaid with a ppi to prevent any side effects.
Also nsaid is not meant to be given for long term.
I'd advice you take a 15 day ppi course twice a day and stop taking acelofenac discuss you problem for which you have been taking acelofenac to get better prescription.
