About Proluton Depot 250Mg Injection

Proluton injection is a synthetic prescription medication given to pregnant women. It prevents the chances of an early delivery. It is given to women after the first trimester.This is a hormone medication that belongs to a category of drugs known as progestin.

You should not take this medication if you have:

  • Allergic to any medicine, foods, substances or any of the ingredients contained within Proluton Depot 250Mg Injection.
  • Taking any prescriptive or non-prescriptive drugs, herbal, vitamins or dietary supplements.
  • A history of epilepsy or any other kind of seizures.
  • Diabetes or high blood sugar.
  • Heart, liver or kidney problems.
  • History of hormone-sensitive cancers.
  • Vaginal bleeding.
  • Asthma or depression.

Proluton needs to be injected every seven days. Do not buy or use the medication if it appears cloudy, discolored or seems to contain particles. Keep the medication out of the reach of children. In case you miss your scheduled dose, notify your physician immediately.
