Mensovit Forte Tablet

This medication is used to bring about an abortion in women who have been pregnant for about seven weeks or 50 days. It is used in combination with misoprostol. This medication is also known as RU-486 and it is a synthetic steroid.

This medication blocks the effect of progesterone by competitively binding to the specific receptors and sensitizing the inner linings of the uterus inducing bleeding and contractions.
