About Dorific 500Mg Injection

Dorific 500Mg Injection is a broad spectrum beta-lactum antibiotic. It is effective against gram-positive, gram-negative, and anaerobic bacteria. It is specially effective against Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. It is used to treat complicated urinary tract infections and intra-abdominal infections. It is also prescribed to patients with cystic fibrosis for the treatment of bronchopulmonary infection. Dorific 500Mg Injection however, does not work for common cold, flu or viral infection.

Dorific 500Mg Injection is injected intravenously, usually every 8 hours for treatment. The duration of the treatment depends on the infection that the patient has. Consult your doctor regarding the dose. It can be taken at the hospital or can also be administered at home. In case you are taking it at home by yourself, make sure you take the injection same time, everyday. Also make sure you don't discontinue treatment prior to the prescribed period even if you start to feel better, since the bacteria might become resistant to the medication.

Common side effects of Dorific 500Mg Injection include nausea, headache, Diarrhea, pain, pale skin, rash, Phlebitis. While rarely it may also lead to Seizure, swelling of the face, fingers, or lower legs, trouble breathing, bloody urine, anemia and pruritus.
