About Deletus D Syrup

Deletus D Syrup is a decongestant and/or antitussive that is effective in providing symptomatic relief of coughs caused by minor viral upper respiratory tract infections or inhaled irritants. It is most effective for a chronic nonproductive cough, or in suppressing dry cough

It affects the nervous system and the brain to subdue the signals responsible for triggering cough responses. However, it plays no part in diluting the mucus. Deletus D Syrup is suggested that pregnant women should be advised not to use dextromethorphan-containing medications

The dosage of Deletus D Syrup differ with age and the intensity of the coughing. Follow the doctor’s advice on the duration of use. A higher or lower dose of Deletus D Syrup is as risky as use longer than the prescribed duration.

Deletus D Syrup is not recommended for use by patients suffering from chronic bronchitis. It also has severe interactions when used in combination with MAO inhibitors. Therefore, stop using MAO inhibitors for at least 14 days before you start treatment with It. This medication must not be used by children below 4 years of age.

Shake the syrup well; do not exceed recommended dosage and if cough lasts more than 1 week or is accompanied by a rash, fever, or headache, notify physician.
