About Carisoma Compound Tablet

Carisoma tablet, a prodrug related to meprobamate, is composed of Carisoprodol, Caffeine and Paracetamol. It is a centrally acting muscle relaxant of carbamate class. It is used to treat problems related to skeletal muscle such as pain or injury.

This drug is recommended for short term usage as the evidences of effectiveness is inadequate for prolonged use and painful musculoskeletal conditions are usually of short time.

Before using the medicine, a physician should be informed regarding the consumption of other drugs that cause drowsiness such as opioid pain and cough relievers, antihistamines, alcohol, other drugs for sleep or anxiety or other muscle relaxants.
