Calsunate 60 MG Injection, a derivative of artemisinin is a water-soluble hemisuccinate. It is very effective in the treatment of severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum strains when other medicines fail to show positive results. However, it cannot be used to prevent malaria. It can be given by injection into a vein or a muscle or taken by mouth.
This medicine is generally well-tolerated in the body. It appears to be safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
