About Asthalin 2Mg/5Ml Syrup

This medication is a member of the group of drugs called short-acting beta-2 agonists. The syrup is used to treat asthma and its symptoms. It is also very useful in preventing asthma caused due to exercise and other conditions. Dosage is based on your age, gender, response to therapy, medical condition, and use of certain interacting medicines.

Some of the side effects for this medication include feeling a bit shaky, headache, uneven heart beat, flushing, muscle cramps, irritation or dryness of the mouth and throat. Other severe side effects such as low blood potassium levels, weakness, restlessness, dizziness, bronchospasm and lactic acidosis may be observed in some patients.

This syrup should be used with caution in those with severe asthma, heart problems, high blood pressure and diabetes. Those who have an overactive thyroid gland, infection of the lungs, arrhythmias should use some other safer alternative of this medication.
