About Acenac-Mr 8Mg/100Mg/500Mg Tablet

Acenac tablet is a NSAID which contains Thiocolchicoside, Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. This medication is used for the treatment of muscle stiffness. It is anti-inflammatory and analgesic and works as a competitive GABAA receptor antagonist. This drug prohibits the action of cyclooxygenase in the body and lowers pain and swelling. This medication provides relief for:

  • Stiffness in spinal
  • Muscle diseases
  • Joint diseases
  • Nerve diseases
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Nonarticular rheumatism.

The dosage is determined by your doctor based on your condition. However, the usual dose in adults is about 16 mg per day taken or 8 mg per day.

Aceclofenac inhibits the action of cyclooxygenase in the brain which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. Paracetamol activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals.
