Diagnosis of the mouth sores are done by a general physician who would examine the mouth and also do a tissue test if needed.
HOW IS MOUTH SORES TREATED?
Mouth sores most often disappear by themselves within 14 days, a doctor could prescribe pain or anti-inflammatory medications if needed. Medications would also be prescribed for mouth sores caused due to viral, bacterial or fungal infections.
