HEREDITARY SPASTIC PARAPLEGIA
Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia is a group of inherited diseases that are characterized by progressive stiffness and contraction in lower limbs. In Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia, the nerves in the lower limbs are damaged. Symptoms are:

HOW IS HEREDITARY SPASTIC PARAPLEGIA TREATED?

Physical therapists can also recommend exercises to help a person maintain flexibility and range of motion and reduce spasticity. Medications may help to reduce muscle spasticity and improve gait.
