About Tolpa D Tablet

Tolpa-D is a prescription drug that is manufactured by micro labs limited. It is composed of diclofenac 50 mg and serratiopeptidase 10mg. It is a non-steroidal drug which is used to alleviate symptoms of arthritis. This medication is prescribed when the patient has severe pain, inflammation, stiffness, joint pain, and swelling.

This Tablet decreases the hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body, it blocks the chemicals causing pain and swelling. The side effects of this drug include a headache, belly pain, upset stomach or throwing up, though this can be taken care by proper diet and hydration. Since it doesn’t contain steroids, it is safer to use than other drugs containing steroids. The drug can also be used to treat muscle pain due to injury, painful menstrual cramps, ankylosing spondylitis and migraines.

It is not prescribed to patients who are about to undergo a bypass heart surgery or have an allergy to other anti-inflammatory painkillers. Patients who suffer from heart diseases are suggested to consult the doctor before the start of this medication. Patients who suffer from hypertension, high cholesterol levels, diabetes, asthma or a bleeding disorder are prone to a heart attack while under this medication. Smokers, alcoholics, and women who are trying to conceive should avoid this medication as there can be harmful side effects.

    Tolpa D Tablet inhibits an enzyme named Cyclooxygenase which is responsible for the formation of prostaglandin. The other ingredient of the medicine facilitates the breakdown of proteins and reduces the formation of mucous and relieves inflammation.
