About Budamate 200 Transhaler

The Transhaler is widely used for treating asthma and also used for preventing breathing problems caused by exercise. It is also used for long-term management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Budamate Transhaler is a long-acting beta-agonist bronchodilator. It widens the airways in the lungs which in turn helps you breathe more easily.

Inform your doctor if you have a history of diabetes, low blood potassium levels, heart problems, blood vessel problems, high blood pressure, an adrenal gland tumour, seizures, or thyroid problems. Some medicines may interact with the action of Budamate 200 Transhaler. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines.

Continue to use this medicine even if you feel well for as long as it has been prescribed. Try to not miss any doses. If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

    Budamate 200 Transhaler has bronchodilatory properties and works by selectively binding to beta-2 adrenergic receptors in bronchial smooth muscles. This results in the activation of intracellular adenyl cyclase which catalyses the conversion of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to cyclic-3'',5''-adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and leads to bronchodilation. It also works by inhibiting the release of multiple cell types (mast cells, eosinophils, neutrophils, macrophages, and lymphocytes) and mediators (histamine, eicosanoids, leukotrienes, and cytokines) that cause inflammation thus helps in the treatment of allergic disorders and reduces inflammation.
