About Triexer 2 Tablet Er

This medication is composed of Glimepiride, Metformin, Pioglitazone and used for treating patients suffering from type 2 Diabetes. It is a type of sulfonylurea antidiabetic medicine, that helps the pancreas in releasing insulin thus helping reduce the blood sugar level. Any form of allergy must be mentioned to the consulting doctor before taking this drug.

Avoid using this medicine if you have any history of kidney or liver diseases. Also, inform the doctor if you are currently using any prescribed drugs or diet supplement. This drug shouldn’t be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women. If you had a surgery recently, it is advisable not to take this medicine.

    The drug lowers the blood glucose by stimulating the release of insulin from pancreatic beta cells. The medicine also activates peroxisome proliferator activator receptor causing an increase in the production of components that breaks down lipids and glucose in the body. It also increases insulin response without effecting its secretion.
