About Gestofit 200 MG Capsule

Gestofit 200 MG Capsule is primarily used as intrauterine contraception in women who have had at least 1 child, are in a stable, mutually monogamous relationship, and have no history of the pelvic inflammatory disease; amenorrhea; functional uterine bleeding.

This medicine is also prescribed as replacement therapy. It is available as an intravaginal gel as part of assisted reproductive technology for infertile women with progesterone deficiency. Also it is used in secondary amenorrhea (8% gel is used in those who fail to respond to 4%).

Gestofit 200 MG Capsule (active ingredient) is a synthetic version of the female hormone. This hormone is vital for the regulation of menstruation and ovulation. The medicine is primarily used to induce periods, specifically when it occurs due to a lack of hormone secretion.

It is also used to treat abnormal uterine bleeding and symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Use of this medication could cause harm to the unborn baby if you do not let your doctor know that you are pregnant.
