About Antrenyl 5Mg Tablet

Antrenyl 5Mg Tablet is an anti-muscarinic agent. It is prescribed for peptic ulcer, and known to prevent muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract. It is administered orally, and is available in the form of a tablet. The recommended dose for a child is 3 to 5 mg per day, while that for an adult is 5 to 10 mg.

You must not take this drug if you have any of the following medical conditions: urinary obstruction, myasthenia gravis, and paralytic ileus. Caution must be exercised in administering this medicine, particularly if you are a patient with a history prostate enlargement, heart attack, cardiac failure, elevated levels of blood pressure, increase in levels of eye pressure if you are an elderly person, if you are a child, and particularly if you are a woman who is pregnant or breastfeeding.

The observed adverse effects of Antrenyl 5Mg Tablet include difficulty in swallowing, dry mouth, vomiting, nausea, constipation, abnormalities in the rhythm of the heartbeat, increased or decreased heart rate, blurred vision, giddiness, sensitivity to sunlight, confusion, and urinary retention.

You should avoid overdosing on this drug. Increased dosage may only increase the intensity of the side effects instead of better treatment. Do not take if allergic.
