Check blood sugar levels once in two months. 
Maintain healthy weight and lifestyle, adopt meditation and yoga along with the diet rich in green leafy vegetables, fiber-rich fruits.
Care more your body especially drinking more water to help kidneys and eyes, breathe fresh air in pollution free environment at least two days weekly. Can go for jogging daily or a half an hour walk. 
Think positive. Think your body really works well and its improving day by day.
