Dear Sir/Madam, My wife is 31 week 4 day pregnant now and her blood sugar levels are as below FBS: 92-99 PRBS: 160-180 Baby weight is 1.6 kg during 31week and amniotic fluid index is 21. Now doctor is advising to take 1g Metformin SR (Glycomet SR) tablet twice a day. Is this dosage safe for baby and mother? Kindly advice. Thank you.

Yes it may be safe. You can reduce the dosage with homoeopathic treatment. It has no side effects and on the contrary it has good effects on both.
