-you can cure your acidity by avoiding spicy & fried foods, have bland food for few days
-take your meals on time & do not skip meals, have meals 2-3 hrs before bedtime
-avoid too much of gassy foods like beans, pulses, legumes, dairy products
-have plenty of fluids, water atleast 8-10 glasses a day
-do not lye down immediately after meais
-can have snacks inbetween meals, like nuts, sandwich, fruits, poha
-do regular exercise, walking for 20-30 min a day, do yoga which benefits proper digestion
-avoid too much tea, coffee
-if you benefit from the above you can gradually stop all medication.
