Once go doctor if high then take his advise & once in fortnight check up bp. If normal then once in a year.

it may be white coat hypertension...i.e . bp ups during physician visit but normal at home........don't start antihypertensive medications as of now.... do self monitoring of blood pressure at home at different times of day and then report it to doctor,,,if there are no symptoms then no need to take medicines ..just reduce salt intake in ur diet
