Blood pressure usually does not have any symptoms or signs unless it increases to very high level. But if at all it increases you might have headache, giddiness or chest discomfort. It's always better to get BP checked manually and if found more than 140/90 then to start with lifestyle modification like salt restriction diet and medicines might also be required of persistently BP remains high.

it may be white coat hypertension...i.e . bp ups during physician visit but normal at home........don't start antihypertensive medications as of now.... do self monitoring of blood pressure at home at different times of day and then report it to doctor,,,if there are no symptoms then no need to take medicines ..just reduce salt intake in ur diet
