Please understand a person with diabetes needs to take a properly planned restricted diet, that provides exact calories needed, based on ideal body weight, extent of daily physical activity or exercise and blood glucose control. Butter is a saturated fat, should consumed in a very small quantity if at all. About 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls a day. Thanks.

There are way to many causes for your problem. Few of them are use of various medications like antibiotics etc, diabetes, liver disorders, kidney disorders etc. If you are apparently normal and healthy individual, a more precise local cause can be present in your mouth that is accumulated plaque, calculus and/ or tongue coating. Age related degenerative changes another cause for your bitter taste. I would suggest you to meet a nearby dentist and let him find the cause. A better treatment can be done only after exact diagnosis of your problem. Meanwhile you can use Listerine or non alcohol based mouthwash to gurgle twice daily. Thank you.

Hi, here are a few tips that will help you:- exercise 40-45 minutes 4-5 times a week. Eat small frequent meals every 2 -3 hours eat protein rich diet (especially post workout, it will help in building muscle) and improve metabolism. Eat proper breakfast, as 40% of day?s energy comes from breakfast. Include healthy fat in your diet like nuts - almonds and walnuts, seeds like pumpkin, watermelon, sunflower seeds, etc. Eat fiber rich diet, it will help to gain early satiety and help you feel full - include fruits and vegetables in your diet avoid junk food, oily food, processed or canned foods. Drink a glass of water every hour daily to optimally hydrate the body. Note: the given prescription can change according to different conditions. Peanut butter is good for health bu not for weight loss.

You can try this - 1. 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). Or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits (eat whole fruit not juice), a handful of peanuts, seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk, a cheese cube/slice/ banana shake etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. Take simple food like rice n dal in dinner. 7.take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 8. Drink lot of water9. Everyday preferably sleep on same time 10. Maintain active life style. Exercise to gain weight swimming:jogging:lunges and squats:bench press:deadlifts:yoga:pull-ups:upright barbell rows and dumbbell shoulder press lifting weight is important too, so that the additional calories can be used to build muscle instead of just adding fat. 11. Don't smoke. Smokers tend to weigh less than non-smokers, and quitting smoking often leads to weight gain.
