Before 2.0 mg/dl, after 2.10 mg/dl and right now my jaundice level is 2.40 mg/dl what can I eat? I am already taking medicine himalayan liv 52 and udiliv tablets but its not working can I eat cookies, biscuit, mango cold drinks, bread, barley, fruits, and fast food? The patient should rest in bed till the acute symptoms subside. He should not be given any solid foods for the first few days of the treatment. He may be given plenty of fresh fruits and vegetable juices. The idea is to provide a high carbohydrate based diet as the liver is infected, and minimize the strain on the liver. Suji or dhalia porridge, soft custards, curd rice are other soft easy digestable foods. Fruits and vegetables are highly recommended, and can be used to prepare juices. Those like lemon, grapes, pear, tomato, carrot, beet and yes, sugarcane are preferable. Sugarcane juice, mixed with lime juice, being high carbohydrate can hasten recovery from jaundice. Half a glass of this juice, mixed with half a lime, may be given to the patient twice daily. It is, however, very essential that the juice must be pure and preferably prepared at home in a hygienic manner. Resistance is low in jaundice and any infected beverage could only make matters worse. It is also important to prepare this juice fresh each time and avoid storing it. After the severity of the decease has passed, the patient may be given a simple and well-balanced diet. The emphasis should be on fresh juicy fruits such as orange, apple, pineapple, grapes, papaya and mango, and vegetables such as spinach, fenugreek and carrots. The patient should avoid all fats like ghee, butter, cream and oils for at last two weeks and thereafter their consumption should be kept down to the minimum. Digestive disturbances must be avoided. No food with a tendency to ferment or putrefy in the lower intestines like pulses and legumes should be included in the diet. Other effective home remedy is the use of green leaves or radish (muli). The leaves should be pounded and their juice extracted. It should be strained through a clean piece of muslin before use.

Hie doctor my age is 28 year female and I have gained a lot of weight during pregnancy 2 year back. My height is 5.1 and weight 69kg which was 72kg 4month back. I have gone through routine blood test and there was nothing unusual like thyroid or ny other problem. I am teacher by profession and have restricted totally oily and any junk food in diet. Is taking obicure green tea daily and salad and fruits in diet. Still I feel the pace of weight loss is very slow. I am regular brisk walker for 3 km in 45 minute daily for exercise please guide me how to loose excess body weight as its not healthy to be bulky.

Your trying too much for your weight loss but still not in control. It's main reason is your all internal layer from stomach to intestines there is a fatty layer prepared so how much you doing food restrictions then also it is worthless. You have to liquify the interal layer. By lukewarm water, why protein, buttermilk, green tea. This all may help you to liquify the internal layers of fat. Do your routine as you continue before.

Dear excessive weight gain occurs only when calories intake are more than calories burnt, It can put a person at risk of thyroid disease, diabetes , kidney problems, arthritis etc... Dear to decrease weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach daily. 3. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 4. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 5. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 5 min per asana. 6. Do brisk walk early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 7. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 8. Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. 9. Drink three litres of water daily 10. Take 2 tab medohar guggul and 2 tab triphala guggul twice a day with luke warm water 30 min after meals./ 30 days.. revert me back after 30 days.
