Temporarily you should be on insulin.When levels come below 200 only then medicene can tried. Gluconorm G2 forte is too high dose.

Depends. If your sugar control is good you may do it less frequently. If your dietary control is at par. Your daily routine like exercise etc. Are regular. You observe on an average your sugar levels at different occasion are fairly the same you may reduce frequency. Take different samples like fasting (should be around 120. Random (should be around 200) and pp (should be around 140-150. Check your hba1c once in 6 months and it should be around 6.5-7.00. With danila (glibenclamide) the problem of hypoglycemia is high. It may be better if you change over to similar group if drugs like glimeperide that is less likely to have this risk. Consult your treating physician to get his advice on this.

Prevention 1.Do regular exercise 2.Reduce weight if overweight 3Control diet 4.Avoid sweets, excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet, . 5.Adhere to a strict diabetic diet by consulting Dietitian 6.Monitor your fasting, PP blood sugar and Hba1c three monthly 7.Consult diabetologist for advice and treatment prevention of Diabetes Control of BP Control Of Bp 1. Hello, Thanks for the query. Both fasting and PP glucose levels mentioned are high and confirm that you have diabetes. In that situation, it is almost impossible to reduce those levels and bring them to normal without using drugs. Diet and exercise can help, but anti-diabetic drugs are necessary in this situuation. If a person is in pre-diabetic state then it is possibe to revert to normal levels with diet control and weight reduction and exercise. But now there is a need for drugs, plus diet and exercise.
