There was no difference in incidence of hypoglycaemia. Conclusions: switching from human insulin mix 30: 70 to analog insulin mix 50: 50 results in better post main meal control.
I would recommend you to consult an endocrinologist and change your insulin from a premixed one to an analog mix like ryzodeg. However given the long-standing diabetes you are having I would suggest you to be on a basal bolus regimen which involves using two different insulins, in short two pens which will provide you finer control and better flexibility.
Don?t increase dose on your own. You see your attending physician for this. He/she will adjust your dose or will prescribe you different medicines. As high sugar levels during pregnancy is not good.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Yes she can use that Insulin, only ensure that it is also 40 iu per ml, so that dosage becomes same. Plus the syringe used should also should be 40u/ml one. Thanks.
Recosulin R is a regular insulin which will work for short time only Lupisulin M 30 is mixture of NPH (Intermediate acting) and regular (short acting) insulin
So both are different in their action and need to be use in appropriate cases.
