Hello lybrate-user, pain in leg is common at all ages. There are various causes of leg pain- cramps muscle spasm muscle fatigue nutritional deficiencies dehydration standing for long hours injuries medical conditions like arthritis, gout, dvt, restless leg syndrome, varicose veins, etc. One should try and find out the real cause of it for early treatment and control. Some temporary relief majors are - # ice fomentation - if leg pain is due to physical exertion or fresh injury. You can do it with an ice pack or put ice cubes in a normal plastic bag or zip lock bag n then cover this with a piece of cotton cloth for fomentation. # hot fomentation with hot water andhalf cup of epsom salt. It is a muscle relaxant and regulate nerve signals. Massage with hot oil is also relaxing. Regular exercise will also help. Advice on calcium intake is possible only after detail case history. Dear lybrateuser, - It is not necessary to take calcium if your calcium level is in normal range, take only vit d supplement if it is low.

My detail age -: 16 years 4 month my problem-: I am suffering from nightfall from 15 november, 4-5 days every week then I am taking medicine of it so when I eat the medicine the nightfall was stop but when medicine over the nightfall start again. So because of nightfall I am getting thin and I lost my strength, energy so can I take calvitan d3 for restore my strength energy and calcium please answer it.

Have plenty of milk and diary product which contains lot of calcium and alsonyou should have sandoz calcium tablet onendaily as a suplimentarybdiet lac of calcium causes osteoarthritis osteoporosis of bones. Have balanced diet of fat protein and carbohydrates. Have plenty of water by mouth.
