Ulitop 5mg Tablet
Ulitop 5mg Tablet is used as an emergency contraceptive and a medication for uterine fibroid. It is used for the prevention of pregnancy in case any regular method of birth control failed. This medication belongs to the class of a Selective progesterone receptor modulators (SPRM).
The use of this medication should be avoided:
- if you are already pregnant
- if you are breastfeeding
- if you are allergic to it or any ingredients in it
Before taking this medicine it is advised that you consult a doctor. Inform your doctor if you experienced your last menstrual period more than four weeks ago or have a history of tubal (ectopic) pregnancy, or you are already on some medication. It should also be avoided if your menstrual period has not yet started, or if your menopause has already passed.
This medication is available as 30mg tablets that have to be taken orally. It should be taken within 5 days (120 hours) after suspected contraceptive failure or unprotected intercourse.
