This is a combination medication which has Caffeine, Paracetamol, Levocetirizine, and Phenylephrine as active ingredients. It is the world’s most widely consumed psychoactive drug. This medication is naturally found in over 60 plants some of which are coffee beans, tea leaves, kola nut, and cacao pods. Synthetic caffeine is added to food like energy stimulating gums and “energy drinks”, medicines for alertness, pain relievers and some cold medicines.

It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals. Levocetirizine selectively inhibits the peripheral H1 receptors thereby reducing the histamine levels in the body. It specifically acts on allergies caused in the stomach and intestine, blood vessels and airways leading to the lung.
