Rheumatoid arthritis is not a contraindication for vaccination. People with cardiac/respiratory/renal diseases are advised to take vaccine at the earliest. If you have any history of drug/food allergy then need to be vigilant regarding those things. Presently it is advisable for pregnant ladies as well.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user ji changing doctors every now and then I will not help you at all. Please try to understand ankylosing spondylitis which is diagnosed by hlab27 is not an ordinary disease. Well disease activity worsens, just tablets become in effective. Be that anything including naproxen myoril calcium न्यूकॉक्सिया sulfasalazine methotrexate etc etc etc. Sulfasalazine remains the mainstay of treatment in initial cases. If you are not getting relieved by sulfasalazine then you have to consult a rheumatologist nearest to your location. Iv drugs the new medicines which work very good in conditions like yours. These medicines are called biologics. On the budget front they will cost you more than tablets but hundred times more effective than any tablets. Please try to understand that changing doctors every month or two months and changing medicine combinations will not help you in any way. You must get yourself checked. Which includes blood investigations x-rays and other relevant investigations. If a particular joint has eroded and been destroyed by the disease activity they might need a replacement operation which will bring you relief and you can stay out of pain for a very long duration of time.

Is ur blood sugar under control. Do an X-ray of cervical spines. A person can ease the symptoms of cervical pain with a few simple neck exercises. 1. Neck stretch Keep your body straight. Push your chin forward in a way that stretches the throat. Softly tense the neck muscles. Hold this for 5 seconds. Return your head to its center position. Push your head back with the chin held high, and hold for 5 seconds. Carry out 5 repetitions. 2. Neck tilt Tilt your head forward so that the chin touches the chest. Softly tense the neck muscles. Hold this for 5 seconds. Return the head to a neutral position. Carry out 5 repetitions. 3. Neck tilt (side-to-side) Lean your head down towards either shoulder, leading with the ear. Softly tense the neck muscles. Hold this for 5 seconds. Return your head to the center and repeat on the other shoulder. Carry out 5 repetitions. 4. Neck turn Turn your head to one side as far as it remains comfortable, being sure to keep your chin at a level height. Tense your neck muscles for 5 seconds. Return the head to a central position. Repeat on the opposite side. Repeat this exercise 5 times on each side.

Is your bp n blood sugar under control. Are you having cervical spondylosis. If so is it under control. If you are experiencing shoulder pain, try these exercises to help relieve your pain url/shoulders/stretching-exercises-frozen-shoulder 1.Arm-across-chest stretch – hold your right hand out in front of you, keeping it near your waist. Reach your left hand behind your elbow, pulling your right arm to the left and across your chest. If you feel pain in your shoulder, lower your arm until the pain subsides. The goal is to be able to pull your right arm across your chest without feeling any pain. Hold for 30-60 seconds then relax and repeat with your left arm. Repeat 3-5 times. 2. Neck release – sit up straight then slowly bring your chin toward your chest until you feel the stretch in the back of your neck. Try leaning your head to the left to stretch your right shoulder or leaning your head to the right to stretch your left shoulder. Hold the stretches up to one minute in each direction, breathing deeply as you concentrate on relaxing. Repeat 3-5 times. To progress the stretch, elevate your arm as you pull it across your chest until it is the height of your shoulder. 3. Chest expansion – put an exercise band, rope, strap, or even a tie behind your back and grasp it with both hands. While holding the strap, draw your shoulder blades toward each other and gently lift your chin toward the ceiling. Breathe deeply for 10 to 15 seconds and release. Repeat 3-5 times. To progress the stretch, move your hands closer together on the strap. 4. Seated twist – sit straight up in a chair with your knees together. Twist your torso to the right, placing your left hand on the outside of your right thigh. Relax your shoulders as you look towards your right, gentling pushing on your right thigh. Breathe deeply for 10 to 15 seconds and release. Repeat with your left side. Repeat both sides 3-5 times. 5. The 90, 90 shoulder stretch – stand in a doorway, holding your arms up so your elbow is at a 90 degree angle and your arm forms a 90 degree angle to your body at the shoulder. Place each hand on one of the sides of the door frame, placing one foot forward as you stand up straight aligning your neck with your spine. Lean forward as you brace yourself against the door frame. Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times. For this homeopathic treatment is very effective for more details you can consult me.

I am 34 years old, female and have a desk job. For the last 2 months or so, sneezing caused a sharp pain in my left rib cage, right under my bra band. However in the last 2-3 weeks the pain increased after I did a small session of workout. It started paining while bending and coughing along with sneezing. I took 3-4 ibuprofens and it went away only to come back after 3-4 days. I have been taking myoril and intagesic for the last 3-4 days but the pain refuses to subside. I have a sitting work schedule all day but I was resting all weekend. I have no fever or issues breathing but have very slight wheezing today. I looked up and the symptoms seem very close to pleurisy but the pain is not reducing even after 5-6 doses of medicines which is concerning to me. I have no other symptoms except pain the left rib cage and slight wheezing. Please suggest what to do.

Hello lybrate-user. I am concerned that you continue to have chest pain for two months. Any pain which causes a catch while breathing can be related to the pleural membrane- covering of the lungs. I would advise you to consult a physician to rule out any serious ailments. One of the most common cause of rib cage pain is intercostal neuralgia- inflammation of nerves between the ribs. This condition usually responds to pain medications and gels.

I am a 26 year old male having below issues. 1. Back ache started around 2 months back. I ignored it until recently my shoulder, neck are also paining. There is pain in ankle, knee area too. I also developed a headache yesterday and today have dry cough I went to a doctor last week when the main issue was lower back pain. He checked if there was any weakness in my legs and checked for my leg movement. When asked, I informed that I travel ~35 kms daily on my bike to the office. He suggested the below medication saying that it was a muscle spasm 1. Myoril 4 mg (3 days - 1 tablet a day while sleeping 2. Bio d3 max (15 days - 1 tablet a day after lunch) 3. Me-12 od (10 days - 1 tablet a day after dinner) 4. Flexabenz gel (twice daily) 5.signoflam (after breakfast and after dinner for 5 days) 6.pan-40 (before breakfast and before dinner for 5 days) 7. He suggested using l.s belt while driving bike I did take myoril and d3 max tablet once. I apply the gel and use a hot water bag on affected areas regularly. Though the body eases off, the stiffness and discomfort come back. I have done this for 3 days now. There was never a severe pain, but just discomfort that I want to get rid of. I would rate my discomfort as below 1. Shoulder, neck, and back -- most of the time 2. Knee and ankle -- after a long walk or otherwise sometimes I have stopped going to the gym for 7 days thinking that it might be the issue. The pain is very much bearable, but I get very tired while coming back from office. It's still manageable but I would like to know if I should take this to a doctor.
