Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Your glucose levels are a bit high. Ideally fbg should be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg & pp should be 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% <7 % above 60 years and <6.5% below 60 years (not given). To suggest any changes in medication I need to know your hba1c%, extent of daily exercise, dietary pattern, serum creatinine & urea plus lipid profile. Another aspect with a bmi of 25 kgs/sq meter (normal < 23 kgs/sq meter) you are a bit over weight. Your ideal body weight should be about 56 kg. So my suggestion is please come back with all the above mentioned details in a private conversation as in this communication we are supposed to give only general guide lines, no drugs can be recommended or prescribed. So I await your information. Incase you are not keen on getting online consultation, please do contact your local physician as it is important to achieve a stricter glucose control for preventing or delaying the complications associated with diabetes. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.

There is no substitute for minipress 2.5 as you need an evaluation to rule out anxiety if you are suffering from anxiety disorder you need anti anxiety drugs. Minipress wouldn't resolve your tension.

See as the new medicine is started it will take some time to adjust, see just watch for blood pressure keep recording at home for 3 times a day. Even if you find it to be high then do get consulted to the cardiologist ok.
