Concor COR 5 mg Tablet is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body. You take repace 25 in morning and concor 2.5 in evening. It would not be advisable to stop taking it because it can have a profound effect on your heart and blood pressure and may be dangerous to do so even when reduced gradually.

I am 39 and suffering from high blood pressure. One doctor prescribed me concor cor 2.5 mg and ecosprin gold 20. I have been using the medicine since five months. Last week I went to another cardiologist and made ecg, echo and TML test. Everything was normal. He told to stop using ecosprin gold 20. But I am scared because my weight is 105 and sometimes I feel that I my breath is stopped for a second. Should I stop ecosprin gold 20 and why I feel sudden STOP of breathing for a second while sitting? Thanks sir.

Check your pulse when you feel lightheaded. This can be done using an electronic blood pressure machine, or simply feeling pulsations on your wrist. If your pulse is 60 or more, you should be alright.

Hello, thanks for the query. The drug mentioned does not cause any increase in blood glucose levels. Blood glucose rises because of overall food intake like roti, chapati, rice, other cereals, potatoes, bananas etc. So just stopping sugar intake is not going reduce glucose levels. There has to be a closer look at overall diet, extent of exercise, weight & height. Pre-diabetes is a warning sign. One can prevent diabetes if proper care is taken. Thanks.
