Any medicines other than sleeping tablets for my insomnia? I am bp& diabetic patient taking alprax. 5 for sleep.
You are already taking alprax 5 for your insomnia. Very effective treatment is available in homoeopathy for this chronic problem. Many Lybrate users are taking homeopathic treatment for this. Homeopathic treatment is painless and safe. No side effects. In fact, many times, the patient will have side benefits while taking treatment for the main issue. You need comprehensive treatment and it takes some time. Please start taking homeopathic medicine, preliminary dose arsenicum album 200-once daily in the evening for 5 days. Book online appointment/consultation with me -(commencing from text consult rs 149, audio-rs 300 and video- rs 400) for further more comprehensive prescription and treatment.

Headache after 10 days cannot be related to alprazolam (alprax). The headache is a common symptom and it is not related to alprazolam taken 10 days back. The maximum dose of alprazolam is upto 4 mg / day however in elderly it is 1-2 mg/day.

I am 25 year male, I have white coat hypertension can I take etizolam or alprazolam before appointment?
Hi lybrate-user, thank you for your query. White coat hypertension per se might not be the actual reason for your elevated bp. Kindly consider other factors like: stress from work or home, eating food that’s high in sodium or consuming a lot of caffeine etc. The list goes on. Regarding alprax, that is a treatment modality considered for anxiety or panic attacks. If possible kindly rest for 15-30 mins before bp check up. Keep your mind open. Hypertension if present is treatable. My genuine opinion would be to consult a psychiatrist and explain your problems along with a report of your: 1.renal function 2.thyroid function 3.electrolytes.

Hi lybrate-user please do not take any medicine without prescription and supervision of a physician. There can be lots of harm with self-medication, including drug dependence and drug overdose leading to complications or even death. I urge you to kindly consult a near-by psychiatrist and get your assessed for the condition/situation you are going through. I wish you get well soon!

I have used alprax 0.25 once daily as per my doctor's prescription for about 30/32 days. Is it considered as a long-term or short-term use? I am experiencing some withdrawal symptoms although I have stopped it 8 days back? How long it will continue?

Generally it is for short term use . Even though meet a doctor to take help in reducing the dose.never stop abruptly . Take care of your health properly with lots of vitamin enrich fruits and less simple food with green veges etc. Do pranayam and some more physical workout to reduce the symptoms.

I am a 70 years old male. Other than hypertension, I have no other health problem. My recent blood report and ecg, ecko are also all right. I am taking bp medicines regularly. Recently, due to some anxiety related and sleeplessness issues, my doctor has given me alprax 0.25, one at night and I am taking this medicine for the last one month. For the last 10 days I am experiencing drowsiness/sleepiness in the day time and sometimes uneasiness in the back side of the head. My question is, is it due to side/withdrawal effect of this particular drug and is so, how can I get rid of this problem? Shall be grateful for your help and suggestion.

Dear lybrate-user, aplrax causes rebound insomnia and it is very dangerous to take any medication without your doctor prescription. It is also against the law to sell (and get) these drugs without prescription in certain states. For your issue, I understand it could be very annoying for not having a good night sleep but we can discuss it together, and the first consultation of 15 min would be without any consultation fee. Feel free to discuss it further.
