Since the medical history is more than 14 years and your gastro enterologist seems to have managed on these complaints, it is necessary for you to 1. Take proper care about selecting your diet, timing of food and possible food allergies. 2. Have a detail check up on body systems other than digestive system by a consulting physician - internal medicine - md (more to explore on weight loss) and 3. Continued and periodical review from same gastroenterlogist. If nothing definite comes up, 4. You may also need consultation of an experienced psychiatrist.

I understand your concerns about your fissured tongue, sores, and possible connection to acid reflux. While I can't diagnose your condition or offer medical advice, I can provide some information and suggest next steps: regarding your fissured tongue: fissured tongue is a relatively common condition, affecting up to 5% of the population. While the exact cause is unknown, it's usually considered harmless and often doesn't require treatment. Sores or pain associated with fissured tongue are less common. If you're experiencing frequent sores that heal and reappear in different areas, it's important to seek further evaluation from a doctor to rule out other potential causes. Regarding your acid reflux and metallic taste: although uncommon, acid reflux can sometimes reach the mouth, potentially causing irritation and a metallic taste. However, a normal endoscopy makes this less likely. Other factors, like certain medications, nutritional deficiencies, or even dry mouth, can also contribute to a metallic taste. Your doctor can help determine the potential cause. Next steps: schedule an appointment with your doctor: discuss your concerns, the ongoing sores, and the metallic taste episode. Share your blood test results and mention your anxiety. Consider consulting a specialist: depending on your doctor's assessment, they might recommend a referral to a gastroenterologist (for further acid reflux evaluation) or an oral pathologist (for specialized examination of your tongue). Manage your anxiety: while waiting for your appointment, practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation to manage your anxiety. Remember: a fissured tongue itself is not considered a serious illness. Frequent sores on your tongue could be due to various causes, some of which might require treatment. Consulting a doctor will help clarify the cause of your symptoms and determine the appropriate course of action. I hope this information helps ease your anxiety and guides you towards proper diagnosis and treatment. Please don't hesitate to ask further questions or share any additional details that might be relevant to your situation.

It would most probably be due to gerd or peptic ulcer avoid caffeine choclate alcohol smoking eat healthy food rich in dietary fibre I would recommend aciloc rd tablet 1-0-1 30 min before food it contains omeprazole and domperidone which would prevent gas formation and act as prokinetic to improve bowel movement if it does not settle in a week you should visit any nearby hospital for endoscopy and further workup.

This medicine (proton pump inhibitor (PPI).) will not cure problem. It only works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. The day u dont take medicine normal acid production will be there n u will have symptoms. Do this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). ) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't Overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever ur mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is ur traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit (eat whole fruit not juice), a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. Take simple food like rice n dal in dinner. 6. Maintain active life style 7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, Carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. It contains a lot of fiber which will help reduce tendency for constipation 9. Drink lot of water. 10. Everyday preferably sleep on same time 11. Take half cup of cold milk when u feel acidity, it will help. Curd is good for u. 12. If its very severe then Elevate your bed Raising the head of your bed six to eight inches can help gravity keep gastric acid down in your stomach. This is for long term results But for now to bring your digestive system back on track you need to take medicines. For that I need more details, you can consult me
