Novaclox Lb Capsule is a Penicillin antibiotic and inhibits the transfer of a peptide group in the transpeptidation process. As a result, the bacterium is not able to build cell walls and is killed. It also inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis in its third and last stage when dicloxacillin binds to penicillin-binding proteins and autolysins mediate the process of cell lysis. Lastly, it produces lactic acid in the intestine, thereby preventing pathogens or bad bacteria from entering and growing. The lactic acid produced by this medication helps in restoring gastrointestinal health.
