Myonal 50 MG tablet has been developed and created by Sanzyme Ltd. and contains nimesulide as a major constituent in its chemical composition. The tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which is known to provide relief from acute pain which is a symptom of a variety of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, thrombophlebitis, ear infections, osteoporosis, and dysmenorrhea.

It is also used for reducing fever and inhibiting the growth of cancer cells in the body.The tablet is also used for reducing pain which ranges from mild to moderate and originates in the joints due to muscle sprains.

Cyclooxygenase (COX 2) synthesizes a compound called prostaglandin and it is an enzyme. The secretion of prostaglandin compound in the body causes inflammation and joint pain.

These symptoms are alleviated by the medicine since it is an inhibitor of COX 2. Histamine, proteolytic enzymes, prostaglandin, free radicals, and COX 2 are the components attacked by the medicine.

The medicine is also used for treating severe menstrual cramps, back pain, osteoarthritis, migraines, post-operative pain, rheumatoid arthritis, and acute fever.
