About Moxikind-Cv Forte Dry Syrup

This is a combination medication which has Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid as active ingredients. As a combination medication containing penicillin antibiotic, this syrup treats bacterial infections. It interferes with the synthesis of the cell wall in a bacteria and stops it from growing. It is used to treat infections of the lungs and airways, skin, middle ear, sinuses, and the urinary tract.

This syrup when used with an antibiotic clarithromycin, it treats stomach ulcers. Take this syrup exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Dosage is as per doctor’s prescription and it varies according to age, medical condition and how severe the condition is.

    This syrup is a Penicillin antibiotic and inhibits the transfer of a peptide group in the transpeptidation process. As a result, the bacterium is not able to build cell walls and is killed. It also works as a beta-lactamase inhibitor by binding to beta-lactamase enzyme produced by bacterial cells, which in turn inhibits its enzymatic action and prevents beta-lactam antibiotics from being metabolized by the enzyme.
