Glimy tablet is composed of Glimepiride and Metformin which is used to treat patients suffering from type 2 Diabetes. It is also used in combination with other antidiabetic medicines. This drug is a type of sulfonylurea antidiabetic medicine which helps the pancreas in releasing insulin thus helping reduce the blood sugar level. It belongs to a class of drugs known as sulfonylureas.

Any form of allergy must be mentioned to the consulting doctor. Also, if you have any history of kidney or liver diseases, it should be mentioned to the doctor. This medication is composed of Glimepiride and Metformin. Glimepiride lowers the blood glucose by stimulating the release of insulin from pancreatic beta cells. Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver, decreases intestinal absorption of glucose, and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing bodies glucose uptake and utilization.
