About Glimy M 1 Tablet Er

Glimy tablet is composed of Glimepiride and Metformin which is used to treat patients suffering from type 2 Diabetes. It is also used in combination with other antidiabetic medicines. This drug is a type of sulfonylurea antidiabetic medicine which helps the pancreas in releasing insulin thus helping reduce the blood sugar level. It belongs to a class of drugs known as sulfonylureas.

Any form of allergy must be mentioned to the consulting doctor. Also, if you have any history of kidney or liver diseases, it should be mentioned to the doctor. Limit the intake of alcohol during medication. Inform the doctor if you are currently using any prescribed drugs or diet supplement. This drug shouldn’t be used by pregnant women. If you had a surgery recently, it is advisable not to take this medicine.
