This is a combination medication which has Cilnidipine and Telmisartan as active ingredients. It is known to be channel blocker of calcium. This medication aids in treating high blood pressure. It stops the calcium activity on the blood vessels and the heart. As a result, there is an increase in the supply of blood to the heart. This, in turn, helps lower blood pressure as well as slows down the heart rate.

This medication is a calcium channel blocker. It works by inhibiting the entry of calcium into the cardiac and vascular smooth muscles and prevents the contraction of the muscles and thereby reduces the blood pressure. Telmisartan displaces angiotensin II with very high affinity from its binding site at the AT1 receptor subtype, which is responsible for the known actions of angiotensin II.
