I ll recommend to go for Ayurvedic herbo minerals treatment during convalescing period and boost immunity, provide NUTRITION both macro and micronutrients. all the modern treatment is completed now. It is highly recommended to vo for Ayurvedic now. I ve had experience of providing treatment to such pts in the past who recovered fast. Sorry to hear that about your mother its a tough task for any family after listening to such heavy words the best advise will be you can carry on your current medication along with hydrastis mother tincture 10 drops thrice a day in half cup of lukewarm water for 4months its a best medicine which we can try at the moment even after 4month if improvements seen still you can continue for longer duration such medicines do not have qny sideefeects plus it may help to boost up the immune system as well or may help even in to regularuse the appetite part the the said patient !!

Cancers of gi tract are difficult to cure but not impossible to cure. According to the available data after being diagnosed with stomach cancer, 31.5% of people survive five years or more. If that has to be taken as a benchmark his chances are 1 out of 3. I wouldn't be dishearted if I have as much chance of surviving something. You should focus on building a positive momentum around him, to keep him motivated to fight and not lose hope. That helps a lot. He may be given alternative treatment along with his chemo etc to relieve him of their side effects and improve his quality of life. Homoeopathy is ideally of choice. For the hospital I would suggest that you consult with doctors at apollo chennai, that's a good facility near you. Feel free to reach me if you have further queries. Good luck, take care.

I'm 56 yrs. On 20sep I have diagnosed advanced stomach cancer. Dr. bharat patodia prescribed me 6cycle chemo (dacotin). I have taken 5 chemo. Now I can feel that the tumor become small & down. Can I hope a long life?

Hello. Its a good sign that your tumor has responded to chemotherapy and has decreased in size. Once you complete your planned chemotherapy, your oncologist will advise a repeat scan to exactly assess how much the tumor has shrunk and where all it is present. If you initially had a localized disease and the tumor is operable now, surgery may be an option. However, the best treatment and life expectancy can be discussed only after reviewing all ýour scans and reports. Ensure a healthy diet. Pls consult me for further opinion or discuss with your treating oncologist. Thanks.

If patient get better result in 1st chemotherapy setting it's really appreciating. Also biopsy report is normal so that my suggestion is you must complete all cycles of chemotherapy with proper advice of your ca specialist. Ayurvedic medicines helps to improve general condition of patient. Example:- hyperacidity, gastritis, nausea, anorexia, skin rashesh, skin irritations, hair loss, hot flushesh, burning of eyes, insomnia, generalised weakness along with bodyache.
