Hole in the heart is a term which is used to describe an actual hole in the walls separating the heart chambers or as a general term to describe a structural abnormality of the heart. The symptoms are:
• Rapid heartbeat
• Rapid breathing
• Excessive sweating
• Extreme tiredness and fatigue
• A blue tinge to the skin (cyanosis)

Diagnosis of the same is done through a screening of the chest area followed with ECG and other similar tests like Cardiac Catheterization tests to check intensity of the hole.

In most of the cases, doctors perform a surgery to cure the disease and medication to thin the blood and prevent clots may also be prescribed instead of surgery.
