About Magnilek Injection

Magnilek Injection is used to diagnose diseases of the brain, diseases of the spinal cord, liver and bone diseases, diseases of the breasts and soft tissues. This medication is a compound that belongs to a certain class of drugs known as contrast agents.

It works by enhancing the image contrast of the internal body structures and improving their visibility when placed in strong magnetic fields and radio waves used in MRI scanners.

This medication is always administered in an aseptic condition to prevent any infections. Prior to using this medication, you need to inform your doctor if you have a history of implantation of artificial pacemakers in the heart, or any other metal clips or implants in the blood vessels.

Your doctor also needs to know if you have a history of low blood pressure, a history of kidney diseases, epilepsy, or any other allergic respiratory conditions like asthma. Also, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

It cannot be administered to patients who are allergic to this medication, or to any other similar diagnostic contrasting agents, or to patients who are suffering from kidney disease.
